Job Readiness Bridges to Careers Program

Bridges to Careers is made possible through a grant from Microsoft's Unlimited Potential program, as well as a grant from Jane's Trust. Bridges to Careers for Low-Skilled Workers is a program facilitated by CareerEdge to enhance the skills and earning capabilities of our community members by providing them an opportunity to obtain the necessary skills through formal training and credentialing so that talent and skill can be acquired to assist them in entering the workforce successfully and permanently.

Bridges to Careers has been established so that in addition to the needs of our community being met the needs of our regional employers are as well. We are researching and investigating what our employers need in their entry-level workforce so that we can properly train the unemployed to fill those jobs. As a community leader CareerEdge is dedicated to educating our employers on the importance of investing in developing the talent their current workforce has so that career ladders can be established and our participants can start on their pathway to success.
